Crocheting...

Hello

Hope everyone had a good Halloween.

I have been crocheting flowers, to put on a scarf i made ages ago. i made it for my auntie for a Christmas present. i am also going to make a dress up dress for my niece. The prices in the shops for them are ridiculous, just the other day me and mum where in the supermarket, and there was a plastic crown for £6!


Me and mum had one of those exchange vouchers, you can turn £5 into £10 if you spend it on certain products, so we spent it on some clothes for Sophie, as her Christmas present.


I have been crocheting squares for a blanket for Sophie. only 50 more to go lol


I have put the Christmas decorations and tree up today they look great.

Cake

Me and mum have been laying some laminate, that my uncle brought down for us, he got them really cheap 50p per piece! The living room will be done for under £10! They are all different shades some really dark and some light. It would be cool to make a pattern out of them all. We still need a few more pieces, but it's Sooo much better than the previous flooring. Ages ago we went to this floor shop, and we got quoted £400 to have it fitted and that was just for the living room.

I was baking yesterday. I made another pear and almond cake, and some brownies YUMMY

Sushi

I made some home made sushi today. I love fish and I'm always spending my money, on the ready made sushi you can get from the supermarket. But I thought why not make my own. So I cooked the rice, got out my sushi roller, seaweed sheets . and filling and started rolling . I also got some ready made pickled Ginger and wasabe to go on top. They where all yummy but must admit, the wasabe was HOT and i mean hot. lol

Brownies...

My gran moved up to Yorkshire a few days ago. The new place is great the kitchen is up to date than the other one, the living room is much bigger and the bedroom has fitted wardrobes.

The cat we chose for gran to have, was jimmy he will have the life of luxury. lol

Me and mum have had a horrible cold, for the past 3 days we feel a bit better now

I made some chocolate brownies the other day, they smell gorgeous they look irresistible, and they taste lovely. lol

olives

I was fed up of not having a phone yesterday. So I remembered that I still have my old phone. So I digged out a pink flip up phone. I broke the charger by accident ages ago and haven't been able to turn it on since. Anyway I found a charger that happened the have the right shape fitting on the end, so I plugged it in and THE PHONE CAME ON. yippee

My brother, his girlfriend and Sophie came up to see us today. Sophie is soooo cute she is really strong, she has started teething and has already got two teeth
she is also starting to talk a little bit.


There is a new deli shop that has just opened at the end of our road. I love olives so we got some and had it with some rocket, salmon slices and parsley for decoration i loved the olives but mum thought diffrently about them. lol

The swap

Hello Everyone.

The house has been like Monday market for the past 2 days. Me and mum had a swap around with the dining room and living room. Our kitchen is at the front of the house and the dining room is at the back of the house. I really don't know what possessed the previous house owners to design it the way. It's silly to have to walk all the way to the back of the house to eat and you have to go through the living room on your way. Anyway we have swapped the dining room and living room around, so that the dining room is nearer to the kitchen. Later on that day we treated ourselves to some really expensive praws and salmon with garlic and chili sauce YUMMY

I have been baking today and made a lemon meringue pie. looks dilish

I am a fan of Buffy the vampire slayer, I have seasons 1-6 and have been dying to she what happens on the next season, Anyway I found this awesome site on the net and its got all the episodes on it. Yippee

Hey Everyone Ive been baking. lol (again)


I made a couple more pear and almond cakes yesterday. Our neighbour gave us a load of pears so I used them all up.


I have been learning Italian on the internet this week. In 12 weeks time ill know every word of Italian. lol

My Gran came over the other day. She has decided that she is moving to that flat up in Yorkshire. She is having Ringo the cat instead of jimmy and LooLoo. In the past when gran had jimmy she gave him cream, milk and treats and even let him sleep under the bed covers. lol That cat is gonna have the life of luxury. lol

New Place

Hi Everyone.

I had a trip to Huddersfield with my Grandma the other day to have a look at a flat. The people at her present home are not very nice anymore, the warden is hardly ever there and the emergency pull alarms are broken; it's very unsafe. The new place is lovely and the people are nicer. The warden is there 24/7 and Gran can take her cat, Jimmy, with her and maybe LooLoo the cat, too. It is just around the corner from my aunt, uncle, cousin plus her friends aren't that far away either.

I said a few weeks ago that I was entering best decorated buns competition. I did not go because I was away..... But my mum entered some herbs and won 1st PRIZE. yippee

Mum and I went to the charity shop today. I got a black and white skirt and some pink trousers. They are gorgeous. Mum got me some computing books.

I have also been baking and made a pear and almond tart. YUMMY The recipe is from the River Cottage book. Highly recommended recipe.

Hi Everyone I have had a blog makeover. (again) I love the new look.

My brother, his girlfriend and my beautiful niece, Sophie, came up to see us yesterday. Sophie is soooo cute. She has grown so much since the last time I saw her. Later on that day I went to a shopping centre with my brother and his girlfriend. They bought Sophie some bed time story books, some gorgeous t shirts, some shorts and a tracksuit and jumper set for winter.

Today I made a strawberry Pavlova. It's YUMMY

I have been reading and listening to the Harry Potter and the Philosophers Stone book and read along CD. I have almost finished it and I have bet myself that I'll have it finished before Tuesday (6th September). I think I'll have finished it way before then. lol

Popeye

It was Cilla's birthday yesterday. She is either 8 or 9 we cant remember what year it was. It was also my brothers dog birthday Bobby. My brother thinks there 9 i think there are also 9.

Latin and French day

I have been learning Latin and French today. I was learning Latin on Rosetta Stone. It is very good and fun to use.


Yesterday, Me and Mum went to town. I bought myself a big folder to put my learning stuff in and Mum got some pens. They are usually really expensive but they were only £2; I had a go when I got home. They are really good.

Later that day Me, Mum and one of our neighbours went to a gardening club. We go every month. It's really interesting and they bring their own plants and talk about them and you can ask questions and buy the plants if you like . There is also a raffle you can have a go at. Next time month there is a gardening show and there is a competition for BEST DECORATED BUNS. I think I'm going to enter it. I'll definitely win; no one decorates buns better than me. lol

Paw Prints

Hi Everyone.

I was painting the stairs the other day and it looked nice until my cat, Megan, went running up them. There are now paw prints on the stairs. Later on that day I went into my room and there were a load of paw prints on my carpet. She is now banned from my room. lol

After weeks of thinking about it. I finally know what colour I'm painting my room..... WHITE.

When I planted those tomatoes ages ago we did not have enough pots to put them in. So, they have been outside for months. Mum was going to bin them but didn't have the heart, so she'd water them and say sorry! We've found some pots and so they are now on top of the cat run roof getting all the sunshine.

This is Muppet rolling around on the carpet. She is very shy, usually. lol

My Nieces

Yesterday Me and My Mum went down south., to visit my brothers, my two nieces and their other halves. One of my brothers took me to play tennis at a local tennis court. I missed quite a few throws but I think I did good on my first go at tennis.

My new niece Sophie can now hold her head up. She has grown so much since the last time I saw her. When we all got back from playing tennis she was laughing on the sofa when we were talking to her.

I saw my other lovely niece Skye. We were playing on the wii console, on the trampoline and playing football in the garden ; she loves football. Skye, my brother and his g
irlfriend went on holiday a few weeks ago. They showed us some photos of Skye. She looks so grown up and cute. They gave us on of the photos and it is on our mantle piece.

Yummy chocolates

Hey everyone

I am going to make some more stuff for Christmas this week. I have already made 2 brooches, 1 blue scarf and a few boxes shaped as triangles.

Yesterday I had some of those chocolates I got from Thorntons. ahhhhh they're yummy.

My blog makeover

I have had a blog makeover. I think it looks soooooo much better I hope everyone else loves it too:)

Megan my cat was been very fussy early this morning. She kept waking me up and jumping up onto my bed. I dont know what was wrong or what she wanted. I think she just wanted someone to play with. I will play with her if she wants to play but not 4 o clock in the morning. lol

I went shopping today with my Grandma. I got the Liz Earle cleanse and polish. I had a go a few minutes ago; I think I went to heavan for a couple of minutes. lol It's lovely.

I also got some eye shadow, some hair clips,some leggings,some tights, and some chocolates from Thorntons.

The other day, me and Mum went to a jumble sale. I got a necklace thet has my birthstone on it (i',s emerald) and I also got some make up, some earrings, some jeans, a vest, a hoody,and a purse. Phew LOL

I have been listening to the radio for most of the morning as there is nothing on tv these days, apart from house hunting shows and the Wright stuff. Everything is just boring. they should put something else on insted of the same thing all the time.

I have been looking for cinema deals on the internet but I can't seem to find anything. All they list are the films they have, the name of the cinema and thats it really. It doesn't tell you how much it is!! iIam dying to see the Harry Potter Deathly Hallows part 2 I WILL FIND A DECENT WEBSITE lol

Bart the cat is running around the living room trying to catch a fly.. his favourite pastime. lol and Tinkerbelle the cat is in a box on top of our clothes dryer and is fast asleep. lol she loves sittting in boxes....and chewing them! lol

Hello Everyone. Sorry about not blogging in ages - the computer broke.

The laptop was being funny the battery kept going and the Apple wouldn't let us log in for some weird reason...

Me and My Mum have been busy sowing seeds and I just happend to plant some tomatoes I didn't think they would all come up, so I put lots of seed in pots and tubs. We haven't just got 1 tomato plant, we have got millions!! We keep offering them to everyone but they seem to not like or want them. lol

I was crafting last night and I made a lovely card. It took me about 30 minutes to decide what colour card I wanted. lol.. but I had a lovely card in the end.

I'm an auntie again. My new neice arrived on the 8th of May this year and her name is Sophie. She is beautful and is very alert and can almost hold her head up. She is always looking around the room when I hold her because she can heae her mum and dad talking. My other niece, Skye, loves her. Sophie's mum and dad gave my Mum a bag with a picture of skye and her on it for her birthday; it's lovely. Sophie's mum and dad did some pics of her. There is a cute phote showing how small her feet are and one with her mum. She has a whole wordrobe full of clothes and I don't think she will need any more for a while. lol

The car has also been broken for a while but when my uncle came a few weeks ago and he took it up to the garage and they fixed it for FREE so he bought them a pack of beer as a thank you.

I like watching Charmed and we have all the dvds. I also like Buffy the Vampire Slayer, ever since I was quite small. lol I'm almost finished colecting the whole set. I only neeed 2 seasons more. About 2 months ago me and Mum went to a charity shop and I noticed there were 3 Angel video sets for sale so I asked how much they were and she said 75p each! So my Mum got them for me. They were a real bargain! if you wanted them brand new for 1 box set it would be £20-30.

A few weeks ago my neighbour came round and gave me a huge packet of craft stuff. I got some really funky paper and some cool card and sparkly card stock and some sticky tape.

I have been looking on eBay for some Liz Earle cleanse and polish for me. I hate the stuff in the suparmarkets, I end up looking like a tomato. lol Anyway I spottted some and I might get it if the price is right. It hasn't changed in 3 days and its only got 2 days left. Woo hoo!
