Slop

Hello,

The other day Mum made some spinach gnocchi with a tomato sauce.. These are the results she got.
Slop... LOL I could not stop laughing, I was rolling around the floor at one point.

2nd time lucky.. the cooking time said 5 minutes so she put them in for only 2 minutes and this is what we got... yay gnocchi. lol Spinach gnocchi with a tomato sauce... yum
Last week we were working in the garden; our neighbour was helping us sort it out. She planted some lovely plants that she had given us. Our cherry tree is now in a plant bed that I dug and looking great. She also helped us plant some herbs in another plant bed (originally it was supposed to be a pond but we turned it into a plant bed instead). It looks lovely.

My Mum got me a bakeing book, some perfume and some chocolates.

Our neighbour got me a baking book and a advent calender.

Me and mum went to my brother, his other half and my niece for christmas dinner. They got me a gorgues phone, that has all my favourite songs on. Later on we all went to see my other brother, his other half and sophie. They got me some nail varnishes and a split present for me and mum a nitendo wii! and some games wii sports, the legand of zelda and pippa funnell ranch recue.

We made some cornish pastys yesterday. They are lovely.

Me and mum were defrosting, the freezer the other day. it had been turned off for two days, and the ice still hadent melted, so we left the freezer door open. But when we went to bed we forgot to shut it. when we came down in the morning the whole kitchen floor was flooded. Ooops lol

Crocheting...

Hello

Hope everyone had a good Halloween.

I have been crocheting flowers, to put on a scarf i made ages ago. i made it for my auntie for a Christmas present. i am also going to make a dress up dress for my niece. The prices in the shops for them are ridiculous, just the other day me and mum where in the supermarket, and there was a plastic crown for £6!


Me and mum had one of those exchange vouchers, you can turn £5 into £10 if you spend it on certain products, so we spent it on some clothes for Sophie, as her Christmas present.


I have been crocheting squares for a blanket for Sophie. only 50 more to go lol


I have put the Christmas decorations and tree up today they look great.

Cake

Me and mum have been laying some laminate, that my uncle brought down for us, he got them really cheap 50p per piece! The living room will be done for under £10! They are all different shades some really dark and some light. It would be cool to make a pattern out of them all. We still need a few more pieces, but it's Sooo much better than the previous flooring. Ages ago we went to this floor shop, and we got quoted £400 to have it fitted and that was just for the living room.

I was baking yesterday. I made another pear and almond cake, and some brownies YUMMY

Sushi

I made some home made sushi today. I love fish and I'm always spending my money, on the ready made sushi you can get from the supermarket. But I thought why not make my own. So I cooked the rice, got out my sushi roller, seaweed sheets . and filling and started rolling . I also got some ready made pickled Ginger and wasabe to go on top. They where all yummy but must admit, the wasabe was HOT and i mean hot. lol

Brownies...

My gran moved up to Yorkshire a few days ago. The new place is great the kitchen is up to date than the other one, the living room is much bigger and the bedroom has fitted wardrobes.

The cat we chose for gran to have, was jimmy he will have the life of luxury. lol

Me and mum have had a horrible cold, for the past 3 days we feel a bit better now

I made some chocolate brownies the other day, they smell gorgeous they look irresistible, and they taste lovely. lol

olives

I was fed up of not having a phone yesterday. So I remembered that I still have my old phone. So I digged out a pink flip up phone. I broke the charger by accident ages ago and haven't been able to turn it on since. Anyway I found a charger that happened the have the right shape fitting on the end, so I plugged it in and THE PHONE CAME ON. yippee

My brother, his girlfriend and Sophie came up to see us today. Sophie is soooo cute she is really strong, she has started teething and has already got two teeth
she is also starting to talk a little bit.


There is a new deli shop that has just opened at the end of our road. I love olives so we got some and had it with some rocket, salmon slices and parsley for decoration i loved the olives but mum thought diffrently about them. lol
